Classes
The following class splits will be observed for 2011 - note that this includes a change made at the start of the buoy racing season where Class A was revised to include all boats with ratings lower than 133:
Class "A" PHRF rating 130 or lower
Class "B" PHRF rating 131 to 194
Class "C" PHRF rating 195 or greater
Class "D" Non PHRF rated boats or not being scored
All boats will be required to finish the year within the class they began sailing in, except that a boat may move from a slower rated class to a faster rated class. Scoring points accumulated by an AYC member boat in a particular class will count toward that particular class championship.
